Potential Tax Breaks

Several states offer tax incentives to businesses who let their employees telework some or all of the time. The incentives can fall under environmental (for helping to reduce pollution), transportation (for helping to relieve congestion), or "good-employer" incentives (for making members of the community happier).

Virginia and Connecticut are just two of the states that offer these types of incentives. Check with your state to see if your company can get tax breaks by letting you telework.
